Syrebo Hand Rehabilitation Machine in action at Tabor Centre Braintree
The Tabor Centre are always striving to provide their members with access to rehabilitation equipment that will enhance their wellbeing.
We recently acquired funding to purchase a state of the art Syrebo hand rehabilitation training robot.
This machine combines flexible robot technology and neuroscience to provide active and passive training in the stages of rehabilitation including reflexion and extensions for hand dysfunction.
Hand dysfunction can be caused by stroke, hemiplegia, cerebral haemorrhage and cerebral infraction.
This machine now forms part of the fitness equipment at the Tabor Centre that members can use, along with three thera bikes, standing frame and parallel bars.
Members also have access to a visiting physiotherapist who provides one-to-one programmes for members to work to and weekly inclusive fitness classes.
